I was wearing a Hawaiian shirt to school because the teachers were having Hawaiian haystacks for lunch. One of my students, Kathy, came up to me and asked, "Mrs. Walker can it be Hawaiian Day!" I responded, "Sure, why not. It is Hawaiian Day!" She ran off really excitedly and turned to one of my boy students and cheered, "Hey, Charles, Mrs. Walker says today is Hawaiian Day." Charles paused in his steps thought for a minute and stated very matter of factly, "Ah, today is Thursday. It is Dodgeball Day"
Nobody should ever mess with Dodgeball Day!
